Forest Gump has to be one of my favourite films, it is no supprise that it has been rated 5 stars on Dooyoo and has won 6 Oscars as well as 32 wins out of a total 38 nominations. It is an inspirational film that I really did love every minute of. I felt that the storyline was just exceptional and really was entertaining to watch. The music is some of the best I've heard in a film which is no supprise because it was composed by the great Alan Silvestri. The film is of a decent length and stars Tom Hanks who is just unspeakably good I felt in this film and gets it just write. It is a wonderful story in the way that it shows the development of Forest Gump throughout his ... Read the complete review

Forrest Gump is one of those movies that tend to split moviegoers into one of two camps – they either love the movie or completely hate it. Those who love it see it as a kind of epic drama that uses one mans perspective of the world to follow events throughout American history – it shows how one man, no matter how, well, thick for better want of a word, can make a difference to the lives of the people he meets. Those who hate it feel that its syrupy Pro-American flag waving at it’s best, with an idiot as the lead character who just annoys them. As for me – I’m afraid I love the film! I’m sure you’ve all seen the movie ... Read the complete review

Forrest Gump is one of the most lovable figures from 20th Century Cinema. The film was released in 1994, and stars Tom Hanks as Forrest. The current socially acceptable way of describing him would be to say he has special education needs, but these don't hold him back from having the most exciting life imaginable. The film follows him from childhood to adulthood, as he meets celebrities and witnesses major historical events along the way. People come to a movie wanting different things; some like romance, others comedy, and others action. Some want to laugh, some want to cry, and some want to forget about their own life. The beauty of Forrest Gump is that the ... Read the complete review

Forrest Gump - one of my favourite films featuring my favourite actor Tom Hanks. As soon as the DVD was avaliable to buy I got it straight away. First thing I was impressed with was the fact that it was a 2 disc set. The Tom Hanks DVD's I had up until that point were just the one disc, with no extras. The Forrest Gump DVD is fantastic. For fans of the film it is a brilliant source of information, giving behind the scenes footage, and giving surprising insights to how the film was made. Interviews with the cast, deleted scenes and screen tests are also included, as well as lots of in depth looks at the technological side of the film and how special ... Read the complete review
