Advantages: Great acting, writing and jokes!

Disadvantages: not some people's cup of tea...too posh?

As any show that is successful a spiin off is necessary. It is normal that the spin off is not as good as the original show. Well this is a exception, this series tops Cheers as we see the delightful life of Frasier Crane in all its entireness.

We see Frasier Crane a psychologist working on radio to give advice work with his producer Roz who get on great. Martin his dad moves in with him but Frasier doesnt want him around. Throughout the season they learn to adjust to each other's indifferences. Niles is his brother, also a psychologist who can be quite annoying. Frasier hires Daphne a healthcare helper to ease Martin and ask her to help Martin get back on track. Niles sees Daphne and falls for her. We also see some other great charachters at the radio station and some regular people including Martin's dog Eddie! who is delightful and the whole thing takes place in Seattle with a apartment with a great view.

The pilot is one of the best comedy pilots i've seen ever! The Good Son is well written and directed and the show moves fast and the comedy is not silly and full of one-liners, the writing is well thoughtout and of quality. The acting is superb and it's obvious from the second episode they are on to something. The apartment is fantastic to look at the locations really do help. I think the season gets better with each episode and the show is delightful to watch. The episodes get better and better and the charachters mix with each other really quickly.

I thought the acting was superb and wait till you hear about Lillith and Maris. The show is like Friends but with quality and real adults adjusting to each other. We see the relationship between Frasier and his brother, Frasier and Martin, Frasier and his new producer and Frasier and Eddie and we see it delightfully broughout through the genius of Kelsey Grammer and the jokes get better and better - in one episode i almost LAUGH OUT LOUD 3-4 times and can't stop. It's a genius series and the first season takes a while to get on it's feet but when it's done it's beyond excellent. Check it out! I'm glad it did!

Summary: Cheers spinoff of Frasier Crane. Brillant show!
