... with its own twists and generally doesn't follow the book at all. Not that this is a bad thing, I might even go as far as to say this has made it two very good stories to follow. Ok so some of the acting is corny, but then again the film has got Mick Jagger in one of the starring roles. The characters work well and there are some good comedy moments...just look for the scenes with the nun. I have to say I am a big fan of this movie, I have it sitting in my small but growing video collection at home. Now this is a movie based on a book called "Immortality Inc." to be fair it is loosely associated, but VERY loosely, with this book. In fact it has some basic principals from the book and then goes off in a very big tangent from the storyline to make its own plot, with its own twists and generally doesn't follow the book at all. Not that this is a bad thing, I might even go as far as to say this has made it two very good stories to follow. Emilio Estevez is a Formula One racing driver, and Rene Russo is his girlfriend. He is killed in a crash, and finds himself 20 years the future - a disutopia where he meets foul-mouthed nun Amanda Plummer. Estevez is pursued by bounty-hunter Mick Jagger, in the pay of Corporate sleazeball Michilette [rent-a-villain Jonathan Banks]. They want Estevez' body so they can transfer their boss' mind into it.
