French Kiss is the perfect movie to watch if you want to see Meg Ryan in her usual role, with a bit extra to keep your attention. Meg is, of course, wonderful (if not just a little typecast) as Kate, an American woman living in Canada with her doctor fiancee Charlie (played by Timothy Hutton). Kate's life is just how she wants it- well structured with her future planned. However, Kate's world is thrown into chaos when Charlie visits Paris for a conference, and is swept off his feet by a French femme fatale. Despite an overwhelming fear of flying, Kate boards a plane intent on rescuing Charlie from the clutches of his mistress. It is during this ... Read the complete review

Once again love strikes on a plane with Meg Ryan and just like "when Harry met Sally" the two characters don't appear to get along. But this film is one of the better Rom Coms though Kevin kline isn't the usual kind of leading man however this maybe one of the reasons why the film works so well as you don't see an immediate connection between the two main characters. Meg Ryan is at her best as a ditsy blonde afraid of flying when she is forced to travel to Paris to meet her fiancé and it is on this flight that she meets com man Kevin Kline. Do you like comedy? Do you like Romance? Do you like the French? If you answered yes to any of those questions - well, maybe not the last one, but anyway - French Kiss is the film for you! Set in 20th Century Europe, the plot crosses the channel from England to France as the characters get dragged into a situation they never deemed possible. I don't want to give too much away, because that would just spoil it, so I'll just tell you how it starts: There's a nice happy family - a Mum, Dad, daughters and a son. This son is engaged to Kate (Meg Ryan). In the build-up to their wedding, Kate's fiancée has to go on a business trip to Paris. ... Read the complete review

One of my favorite films of all times! I simply love the old romantic comedies with Meg Ryan as they always manage to put a smile on my face. "French Kiss" is no exception. Meg Ryan plays Kate, who is about to get married to fiance Charlie played by Timothy Hutton. Being afraid of flying she skips a trip to Paris with him only to find out some days later that he is in love with some French girl and about to marry her. In her quest to get him back she manages to fly to Paris and while doing so she meets a French thief, Luc, played brilliantly by Kevin Kline. Will Kate manage to get Charlie back? Well, I think the ... Read the complete review
