Advantages: Sure to put a smile on your face

Disadvantages: To notice that there are not many good romantic comedies like this one anymore

One of my favorite films of all times! I simply love the old romantic comedies with Meg Ryan as they always manage to put a smile on my face.

"French Kiss" is no exception. Meg Ryan plays Kate, who is about to get married to fiance Charlie played by Timothy Hutton. Being afraid of flying she skips a trip to Paris with him only to find out some days later that he is in love with some French girl and about to marry her.

In her quest to get him back she manages to fly to Paris and while doing so she meets a French thief, Luc, played brilliantly by Kevin Kline.

Will Kate manage to get Charlie back?

Well, I think the best thing you can do is watch the film!

Meg Ryan gives her usual sweet funny performance but the best of the film is definitely Kevin Kline.
He is so funny and his portrayal of Frenchman Luc is perfect.
Also the chemistry between Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline really works.

Should not forget to mention that Jean Reno is also in the film. You might remember him from "Leon: The Professional"?

And all that with Paris and the French Riviera as background.

About the extras in this DVD is really not worth mentioning as they are only the trailers.

A must-see for rom-com fans!

Summary: Looking for that "feel-good" effect? Look no further.
