Series two of Friends is fantastic... the best episode in the series is The One Where Mr Heckles Dies, and Chandler realises he IS Mr Heckles! What makes me chuckle everytime I see it, is this quote: *After Rachel gets a shell covered lamp from his appartment* Monica: But I'm allergic to shellfish. Rachel: Well, then, you'll just have to eat the other lamps. Also, this series incorporates the beginning of Ross and Rachels will they/ won't they relationship. A major development in the friends ongoing story lines! The most random episode: where we find Phoebe is married to a gay ice dancer. I thought it was hilarious when Rachel spent ... Meet my Friends.......for a second time. The second season of Friends is probably one of my favourite seasons. In the first we were introduced to the characters and started to learn about them but in this season they really start to develop and grow into their characters and we learn more about their lives and how they want to live them. To recap the six friends in question are: Monica - she's a chef and works in a restaurant. She is extremely tidy and likes everything in her apartment to be just so and god help you if you make a mess in there. She's very controlling but also very loyal. Brother is Ross. Ross - he is a palaeontologist (a ... Read the complete review

Sometimes, there's nowt like a trip down memory lane when you're meant to be working. I have several essays due in soon, as well as general work I should be doing to complement my classes, but to be honest I find myself doing little of it, or at least not as much as I should be doing. Instead of preparing for my German Spoken presentation on German TV, I instead decided to go and borrow a DVD or two from my friend down the corridor. There wasn't anything in particular that I fancied watching, but when I saw her complete Friends collection, I knew that that was what I wanted to watch. I used to adore Friends when I was younger, but never really watch it anymore, so I was ... Read the complete review

This review is specific to series 2; my general explanation of the show itself can be found at the end of this review. It seems to me that the creators of 'Friends' weren't sure they'd get another series after the first, and now they have, they don't know what to do. Having exhausted the storyline of Ross wanting Rachel, they simply turn the tables and have Rachel want Ross for the whole series: strangely, it works. Season 2 is more serialised than the first, and begins to deepen some of the other relationships in the show. In particular, Chandler and Joey come to the forefront in this series. Their friendship is tested, and when Joey moves out, it ... Read the complete review

The second series of the amazing sitcom 'Friends' returns with another 24 episodes chronicalling the lives and loves of the six best mates in Manhattan. I have heard various people say that this is the best series of the show, and although I'm not sure I would go that far, it certainly is one of my favourites and contains some unforgettable episodes. After series 1 closed with Rachel realising her feelings for Ross at last, series 2 opens with the arrival of Ross' new girlfriend, which is obviously the last thing Rachel wants! This allows the 'will they, won't they' question to hang on for a bit longer, though thankfully it is resolved during this ... Read the complete review
