Highlights of series 4! The One With The Jellyfish: Monica get's stung, so with only one remedy around, Joey pee's on Monica to stop the pain. Monica, Chandler and Joey are all too traumatised by the peeing incident to speak of it again. Until Ross demands "What happened on that beach?!?" Monica explains, and Joey admits he cured it, and displays his love for his friends by shouting "That's right! I stepped up. And if I had to, I'd pee on any one of you!" The One With Joey's new Girlfriend: Chandler gets a bit too close! When Chandler admits to Joey what happened, Joey suggests he sits in a box to think about it. Joey: You ... Read the complete review

Friends 4 Life At the end of series three, the gang were at a beach house for the weekend looking for Phoebe's real mother. The series climaxed with Ross making the decision between his new bald girlfriend Bonnie or getting back together with Rachel. We saw him standing in a corridor deciding which door to go through and which woman to meet. Well, in the beginning episode of Series 4 we find out he chooses Rachel. She is really happy but makes him read a letter she has written about how she felt when they broke up the first time. Unfortunately Ross falls asleep which does not go down well with Rachel and they end up not getting back together but ... Read the complete review

Although Friends officially finished a few years ago after ten series, it is still often shown on Channel 4 and Sky/Freeview channels, and I must admit that everytime I catch a glimpse of it I am filled with nostalgia for when I used to enjoy this programme so much. When I was around 9 to 12 years old, me and my best friend used to watch Friends almost every day, especially if we were around at eachother's houses, and even used to quote it at school (we were very cool). It seems bizarre now to think that I used to watch it when I was quite young, as a lot of the material is fairly adult and many of the videos were a 12 or a 15 rating, but I think that much of it simply ... Series 4 of Friends, originally broadcast in 1997, is yet another hilarious set of episodes about the 6 best mates. Although not my favourite series, it is nevertheless head and shoulders above most other sitcoms and still has me laughing from start to finish. This series picks up right where series 3 left off, as the friends return from the beach and must deal with the aftermath of all that happened there, including Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston)'s short-lived reunion, and the mysterious tragedy involving Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry). The rest of the series covers a variety of ... Read the complete review

Sometimes you have to wonder what is the point of buying a box set of the Friends series as they are permanently being shown on E4 all year round and occasionally on other channels however this particular one was bought for me as a gift and has been gathering dust for a while now. When you get this box set you do get a lot of Friends, on three discs there are eight episodes on each so you are looking at an impressive 24 episodes and each one lasts for about 25 minutes and no need to sit through any ad breaks. For me this is one of the better series that they made as it includes the excellent visit to London for the ill fated marriage of Ross and ... Read the complete review
