... telling everyone. The Friends are getting into the more serious stages of their lives (cue: "The One Where They All Turn Thirty") so the show isn't as innocent and light-hearted as the first couple of seasons were, which was inevitable. However, it still remains truthful to its roots thanks to the minor characters and especially Joey. He is the only one who never really gets too serious and remains funny throughout. I think this was to ensure that the show didn't turn into a drama only as well as addi...more

Highlights of series 7! The One With Monicas Thunder: Monica is annoyed to find Rachel and Ross kissing, straight after her engagement to Chandler is announced. Rachel: No one was supposed to see! Monica: Oh, that's why you did it in the super secret hallway where no one ever goes?? The One With Rachels Book: Joey takes the mickey when he finds a certain genre of book under rachels pillow! The One With The Engagement Picture: Monica and Chandler try and have a nice photo taken for an engagement notice to go in the paper, however after several trips to the photographers, Monica gets Joey to stand in as Chandler. Premium Review We're still good Friends! (454 words)

You might think that after six series, a sitcom would be starting to get stale. And in most cases you would be right. But the seventh season of Friends, whilst certainly not the best of the seasons by any means, is another solid edition to the franchise and still provides a steady stream of laughs from the six best mates who live in New York. As usual with Friends, the start of the series picks up from where the last one left off, on exactly the same night. Monica and Chandler have just got engaged, so it should be a time for celebration, but as usual nothing goes as planned and everyone is distracted: Ross and Rachel find themselves suddenly lonely and ...  Read the complete review

This review is specific to series 7; my general explanation of the show itself can be found at the end of this review. Season 7 sees Friends heading towards its conclusion, and it was time to start putting things together for a realistic ending. This season came out at the time of the 9/11 attacks, and saw the show receive a resurgence of fans. The public wanted security, and Friends was (literally) an old friend, and could be trusted. This season won awards all the others had only been nominated for, and many believe it to be the strongest too. There are two major storylines. First off, Monica and Chandler get married. It's interesting that this ...  Read the complete review

=== Friends series 7 === OK so i won't bore you with all the details, as i think most of you may know what 'Friends' is. If not it was an American sitcom than ran for ten years, between 1994 and 2004,about a group of 6 friends who share there lives with one another, and in total consisted of ten separate series's. At the end of series five. we got to see the big proposal from Chandler to Monica, in which she obviously said yes, so series seven is a build up to their wedding which is on the last two episodes ( a double bill). Series 7 consists on 25 episodes altogether, with episode 24 and 25 being joint, and is spread out on to 4 DVD ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Friends - Complete Series 7 (DVD): My friends betrayed me (820 words)

Friends, a sitcom I never used to like. If you look at the first episode then it comes across as another nice smarmy american sitcom in the mould of the crap we got from that country in the eighties. I never really got into it until series four and visits to previous seasons have made me realize it is actually quite funny. I have E4 so as a result I have seen series seven which is a patchy affair with some great episodes but some that have only one decent joke in them. Warner Brothers have released all the seasons so far on dvd with three discs containing eight episodes each per season. But for season seven they have decided to give you only four episodes per ...  Read the complete review
