Friends - Series 7 - Episodes 1-4 (DVD) ... Halvorson / Actors: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox ... / DVD released 27 October, 2003 at Warner Home Video / Features of the DVD: Full Screen, PAL / Lots happened behind the scenes between seasons and early on in the seventh year of the hit comedy, leaving audiences speculating that this might be the last. Perry became seriously ill again, and returned looking more emaciated than eve r. Cox regained weight, but despite finishing Scream 3 happily, things were already rocky with David Arquette. Much was made in the press about Aniston marrying Brad Pitt, of course, but the real news (allaying fans' fears) was NBC's expensive renewal of the cast for two years at $750,000 per episode each (more than six times their previous increase). On-screen, at least there was Chandler and Monica's engagement lasting the whole year, despite predictable ups and downs (eg: "T.O.W. The Truth About London" revealing that Monica fancied Joey). By the time we finally get to "T.O.W. Chandler's Dad" (Kathleen Turner), it seems inevitable that the two-part finale will be an insane mess--but with a happy-ish ending. Sure enough, "T.O.W. Chandler and Monica's Wedding" features Gary Oldman joining in the chaos as Chandler repeatedly goes missing. Other star-turns in the year were Seinfeld's Jason Alexander as a suicidal Office Manager, Susan Sarandon as soap queen bitch Jessica Lockhart, Denise Richards as one of Ross and Monica's endless number of cousins and Winona Ryder as a surprise old friend, prompting "T.O.W. Rachel's Big Kiss". But perhaps the most telling instalment of this weirdly atmospheric year was "T.O.W. They All Turn Thirty". It suggested that maybe the Friends are all getting too old to carry on living their frivolous lives the same way after all. Paul Tonks

... wedding plans of Monica and Chandler, this is hillarious, as anyone who has watched up to here in Friends will know how pedantic Monica is, and how much she loves perfection!!! The main episode of the series is the finale, when there is a huge shock for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! This series although not much happens is most definitely one of my favourites as it's all the little episodes throughout the series which make me giggle, especially with the Maid of Honour finding, and Best Man! SERIES 7 of 10! Well we're nearing the end of the show now, only 3 series left!!! This series is probably the one series where the least happens, but that which does happen is essential to watch!!! :-p Last series, Monica and Chandler got engaged in a heart warming episode which had us all in tears!!! Rachel was living with Joey at the end of the series who was working on a TV prgramme called Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. And now this series pretty much follows the wedding plans of Monica and Chandler, this is hillarious, as anyone who has watched up to here in Friends will know how pedantic Monica is, and how much she loves ...  Read the complete review

I love Friends, it was always one of my favourite TV shows, and I have a few of the videos, but Series 7, Episodes 1-4 is the only one I have on DVD. I bought this a while back – I think from Amazon marketplace – mainly because it contains extra never before seen footage – something that I now see was a mistake, but I’ll get to that later on in the review…. I think the majority of you will have heard of Friends, or seen it at some point, so I won’t go into too much detail about what the series is about, but basically it is an American sitcom revolving around six friends living in New York and it ran for ten seasons. The episodes on this ...  Read the complete review

I find it really unfair that Warner Bros are allowed to get away with charging between £40 and £90 for a Friends box set, AND sell them individually for around £10.99 each. There are ways to get around this though. Bargains can be found on eBay, as always. And I got my DVDs from play.com and cdwow.com, meaning that I recieved region 4 discs, in different boxes to the British region 2 discs, for much, much less. Ive paid as little as £20 for a box set thats been retailling for £80, and Ive been feeling extremely smug about it, Not many people are wise to the fact that region 3 discs are playable on region 2 DVD players and PS2s. I ...  Read the complete review
