... gets hit and the girl shot at, suddenly out of no where ( in a kind of evangelion or gundam esc style) giant robots come out of no where to save her. It turns out it is a secret government organization called mithril who are trying to rescue girls with secret psychic powers which they do not know about. Sounds like a pretty typical anime no? Was originally released in 2001 and based on a manga which generally got separated into 2 parts, all of the serious plots and chapters got put in full metal panic and full metal panic second raid, where as the seriously funny and fan service chapters got put in the full metal panic fumoffu series. It is available in both an English dubbing and subtitle track which are actually pretty equally good, the English voice actors are hilariously done and have great timing and tone.
