I'm probably not alone in expecting in thinking that G-Force was going to be another terrible, hilariously clunky kids film that overdoses on the visual effects without any accompanying charm. G-Force is by no means a great film, but it is considerably better than I expected, and a reminder that sometimes CGI-laden films can be worthwhile outings. *Film only review* I very rarely have the opportunity or desire to watch new films and G-Force probably wouldn't have been at the top of my list of films to watch. My oldest son had set his heart on a visit to the cinema with three of his friends, for his seventh birthday, and this was the film of his choice. G-Force is a film based around three guinea pigs who through the efforts of agent Ben (Zach Galifianakis) are able to communicate and take on missions on behalf of the FBI. All of this is for the guinea pigs to be able to hopefully be taken on full time by the FBI and become special agents themselves.
