I went to see this at the cinemas when first released in 2005. Directed by Jim Sheridan, Curtis Jackson '50 Cent' stars as a fictionilised character of himself named Marcus. Marcus is a quite young boy who adores mother, but when she is brutally murdered after an apparent drug deal gone wrong. After this Marcus starts to follow the same route and even leaves school to be a drug dealer. Marcus does this to help his dreams as a rapper be realised. After being in jail Marcus decides to give up drug dealing and pursue his dreams of becoming a rapper. But, does the local 'kingpin' let him do this...

This is a spectacular film, and I did not know any of this until seeing the film. Although, I knew bits of 50 Cent's childhood I did not realise the battle/ risks he had to endure befoe making it.

This really shocked me an I was quite upset as to what he suffered in his lifetime. I was however a little worried as to how 50 Cent's acting really would be, and I have to say that I was pleasantly suprised.

This is an amazing film I don't think I have any bad points on this film.
