Ghajini is a remake of a Tamil movie (2005) and this Hindi movie was released in 2008. It stars Aamir Khan and Asin who made her debut in Bollywood. I had watched the Tamil version of it years back when many people praised the movie for its great story and acting. I still think the Tamil version was great and hats off to the actors who played the roles- weather Tamil or Hindi- they were brilliant. It's a story about a patient who has a short term memory loss and how he became one and how he tries to remember his ultimate goal of killing Ghajini. People would say Ghajini is an action movie,but i would like to differ. I beleive its a romantic story at heart, and yes there is a lot of action in the latter half. Many would say this is not quality cinema, the plot being inspired from the "much overrated" memento, but actually i find this script better, with a proper ending that doesn't leave the audience puzzled and unsatisfied like memento does. Ghajini is basically a revenge story,a theme that bollywood is no stranger of, but Ghajini is the revival of it, in such a big scale.
