Advantages: Easy to follow and good plot, If it was not a horror, it would be a good film., Great opening scene
Disadvantages: Not scary in the slightest, Weak script, Poor characters
The opening sequence is fantastic!! This film is excellent!! What a start!! It must be a great movie!!
Sorry, don't delude yourself, this movie is poor, god help the soles who rent it on DVD.
Bad actors, bad script, no frights what so ever, the only gore is in the opening sequence. The only good thing is that if this film was meant to be a drama instead, it would fair well in my opinion, however its not, its a horror, and as a result it makes it a poor movie. Save your money unless you want a drama with a difference. Thats as true as it gets.
This review was meant to be a short opinion but somehow it got to be a full review. Please dont prejudice me on that. I thank you.

I thought you meant you had started writing this as a short review, but it was too long for the box and ended up in the full review section - obviously not what you meant, but your best bet might be to email Dooyoo and get them to move it or delete it, so you can put it in the short reviews bit.
As for the 'good drama' - the film is watchable and enjoyable to a degree, as long as you don't think you're watching a supposed horror film? |

- 24/07/03 To calypte: Well firstly, i did mention that it was meant to be a short review. I had no intention of it being a full review but somehow i pressed the wrong buttons, dont ask how. So it is meant to be read as a short review. Hope that answers the first point. Secondly it is a bad horror film because it is not scary therefore its a bad horror film, which i am sure we are agreed upon. But!!! The reason it could be a good drama is because drama's are not meant to scare you, drama's are meant to be dramatic. So in then sense if its original purpose was to be a drama it could have been very good. However it was not, it was a horror. was simply emphasising the point that it was a bad horror. Hope this clears up any idea that i did not know what i was talking about. |
