This was a film that I had seen the previews fir and wanted to go and see it but i never managed to get around to it. I was lucky enough to catch this film on my flight to New York and this film kept me highly entertained throughout the flight, if you like Ricky Gervais you will love this film.

Ricky Gervais is Bertram Pincus plays a rude dentist who dies for a few minutes during routine surgery and he then awakes to a power that he can see ghosts a power that he does not want and he finds it hard to escape the ghosts as they always turn up when he least wants them to so that they can finish off the business they have on earth, he decides to help Frank a man who died when he was run over by a bus, he had been cheating on his wife and wanted to stop her from remarrying another cheating love rat. Unfortunately things take a twist when Bertram starts to fall in love with her.

One of Britain's favourite comedian Ricky Gervais plays a great role in this film as it is something that you do not expect to see him in, this is definitely out of his normal area of comedy showing that he can act too.

Once the love story kicks you end up feeling sorry for Betram for being so lonely and having quite a boring standard life.

This film is a great love story and is not really you standard format of film which is great as I have started to detest films that seem to follow the same stereotype every time as they are now so predictable.

Overall this is a great romantic comedy and I highly recommend it to anyone it will keep you entertained. This film is good but I have to say that it does not make it into my top ten favourites.
