gone in 60 seconds is a remake of the1974 version. i think it has lived up to the first film (which was not completed).

this is a great film, with what i would say makes a film great. it has fast cars, well known actors and a lot of crashes.

the story begins with kip memphises brother stealing a porsche, he arrogantly starts a street race and is seen by a police officer on the side of the road making a unrelated arrest. the police officer finds out that the car is stolen and in a couple of minutes the whole police force is trying to catch kips gang. kip and his gang make a exit and fortunately no one is arrested, however a not so pleased calitri (who is going to buy the stolen cars) threatens to kill kip. memphis finds out and goes to see calitri and gives him money to let kip off the hook, unfortunately for kip calitri is more worried about his image, then he is trying to make money. calitri asks memphis to steal 50 cars for him if he wants his brother alive. memphis agrees and calls friends who can help him steal the car however he finds out that some are dead some have found respectable jobs and some are in prison. with a few members kip thinks his gang should join in. memphis agrees and they begin to steal the cars, with a few knock backs the team are on there way to stealing the cars in time, the bad news is the last car is the shelby mustang gt500, memphis has a very bad past with the car. on his way to stealing the car he runs in to randall who he also has had a bad past past with ( randall is a police officer who has been unsucessful to catch memphis and this is his last chance), with a lot of crashes high speed pursuits memphis makes it, the down side is he is late and the car is not in great condition. calitri orders his mean guys to get rid of memphis however with help of kip memphis escapes and tries to kill calitri, with randall at the scene held at gunpoint by calitri memphis pushes calitri of the barrier and kills him. randall lets memphis go for saving his life.

this film is in my top tens because it has angelina jolie and fast cars.

i think this film is value for money for car fans.
