First of all I must mention that this is a film only review, I have not seen the DVD so can't comment on any extras or anything like that.

So Gone In Sixty Seconds came out back in the year 2000. This is an all action film staring Nicholas Cage and the rather lovely Anglina Jolie. This film was a big hit at the time as fast cars and pretty people seems to draw in the crowds at the cinema! The film was directed by Dominic Sena.

The film tells the story of a retired car thief. Yet Memphis Raines in no ordinary car thief, he is the best there is. However he must go back into business and convince his old friends help him make one last robbery in order to save his brothers life. But this is no standard job, he must steal 50 cars in one night! And he must do it fast, hence 'gone in 60 seconds!'.

This is not really the kind of film I like. Pretty people and fast cars are nice to look at but there not the kind of thing that make me enjoy a film. However there are plenty of plus points to this film. There is some great action and as you would expect some good car chases. The film is well put together and is quite entertaining.

On the down side the film is very predicatble, and it does drag on a little towards the end. I'm not a huge fan of Nicholas Cage, think he is a little wooden in many of his roles and for me this was the case in this film. Angelina Jolie plays a decent little role and she always adds to a film for me.

The film runs for 118 minutes which for me is just a little bit to long. I found myself looking at my watch and fidgeting in my chair. I think they could have cut some out of this film and not really lost any of the story, and this would have improved the film for me.

The film is rated as a 12. There is some swearing and violence and sexual refrences, nothing really to bad that should offend to many people.

Overall this is a decent film but certainly nothing special. I would not bother watching it again and would not really feel like I was missing out if I'd missed it the first time round. So if you have not seen this film, I wouldn't worry to much, unless this is the kind of thing your really into, you not missing that much!
