Advantages: fast cars, fast action

Disadvantages: slow to start

This seems to be one of those films which completely divides the audience. I have heard many people say how rubbish it was, with poor acting, little action, and bad story line. I have also heard just as many people talk about the brilliant chase scenes, interesting characters, and the stunning cars. I myself would have to stick with the latter crowd. Okay, I'll admit that the story line isnt particularly ground breaking, and in't going to tax your brain too much. But if your looking for a couple of hours of high octane action, then this is the film for you. Nicholas Cage is fantastic (but then again, when isn't he?) and there are some fantastic car chases. As the gang of car thieves come together, and prepare for a single night of car stealing, the tension builds up, and when they finally steal the first car, its non-stop fun until the end. Any fans of classic cars won't be disappointed, as there are some real beuties in here. Vinnie Jones is great as the hard man who doesn't speak, and Angelina Jolie is gorgeous as ever. I would recommend that anyone rents/buys/borrows this film just so they can see it at least once, because its sure to become a classic.

A very good film, and a good opinion to match. Keep it up.

I don't know why people were knocking this film, I thought it was one of the best films of 2000 and took the car chase to new levels. I also loved Vinnie Jones in it but I loved him in all the other films he has been in to. Good Review, Saul.
