Advantages: Identical to the R1 Release

Disadvantages: its 6 Months behind the R1 release

You pretty much know what your getting with a bruckheimer movie, orange sky's, action, all things cool etc, etc. And yet again he doesn't disappoint.

Directed by Michael Bay (Bad Boys, The Rock) its fast and furious fun, or as most new papers insist "High Octane".

Nicolas Cage plays "Memphis" Raynes, a retired Car Boost(I guess Car Boost sounds cooler than thief) who is brought back onto the scene when his younger brother makes a pigs ear of a boost job.

So they have to steal 50 cars in one night.. And thats about it. My only gripe is that for a movie about stealing cars, theres not alot of car chases, 2 i think? the best being left till last, The Shelby GT500 (what a beautiful car!) This is the type of car "Memphis" has always had bad luck with when stealing... i wont ruin it for you :-)

The DVD transfer is excellent, Anamorphic 2:35.1 and the DD5.1 is lush (your sub will give it loads when the cars are onscreen)

Extras wise, Trialers, Featurettes, making O'f documentary, etc.

What there was was good but more detail was needed, especially on the DVD itself. Good first op anyway.

Make you sure you write as in-depth as you can about the film, it'll help the op (even if it's about the DVD)...a bit brief maybe? But concise, I suppose :-)

A good op although some more info on effects and characters/actors performances would have got a higher rating. Steve
