Advantages: Great Actors, Great Effects, Wickid Extras
Disadvantages: Bit unreal, some of the stunts.
Yes, thats what i was saying throughout this fantastic blockbuster. Call it sad, but if you like your fast cars and a favourable ammount of action, then this film has to be one for the list. I purchased this film on DVD, and i found very quickly that the meaning of the DVD lives up to its expectations with this film. The DVD emphesises great sound and picture, and with this film both are tue. But it is the sound which really grapped by attention. I was playing this film through two stand-alone speakers connected to my desktop PC, and the sound boundind fron them were astonishing. Also being a DVD, extras are included with this action-packed film. These include (from the case): *Zero to 60 featurette *Wild rides featurette *The bid chase featurette 'LA Streets' 'The Naval Yard' 'The Big Jump' *Stars on the move *Action Overload *Conversations with Jerry Bruckheimer *The Cult music video *Biography and Filmography *Theatrical Trailer So, as you can see not only do you get a fantastic film, you get a big bundle of goodies to go with it. OK, so thats enough about the tremendous achievements within this DVD. Now onto the film. Basically the film is about a 'retired booster' (a person who steels a large amount of cars) called Randell "Memphis" Raines, who is played by Nicholas Cage. He finds out that his brother has messed up a 'boost' and is in trouble with the bad guys. Memphis is called into action and save his brother from being murdered. He has a few days in order to steal 50 cars before a certain deadline, so he calls in the help of some old friends to attempt this task. I'm stopping there you will have to watch the film to point out all the excellent twists and turns, literally. This has to be one of the best films going
, it contains great features, great special effects, great actors (also including Angelina Jolie, robert Duvall and our own mister nice guy, Vinnie Jones), a fantastic producer (Jerry Bruckheimer). Got tobe worth a look. I thought this film was the bees knees. Sheer Class!!
