Advantages: Brilliant Cars, Excellent Acting, Great Action

Disadvantages: Lack of story, Why a 15?

Woah hold up there. This is quite possibly the best most stylish roller coaster, rock ridin’ film I’ve ever seen.

The story: Memphis Raines, a retired car thief, is in the district of Florida when word comes by way of old friend that his brother Is in trouble. How, by screwing up a car boost (what we call theft). His job was to steal 50 top of the range motors to have in a couple of days. Upon being found out and the police blowing the whole job he must go low for awhile. Thing is Calitri catches up with him and threatens to kill him unless his 50 cars are delivered. Hence Raines enters the plot after all he was the best car booster of his time.

The problem being he has only a few days to get these 50 cars or Kip is a goner. So he gathers his old crew which takes him a few days but then he’s ready to roll

Already he has the hassle of two top city cops on his back, Castlebeck and Drycof. They know what he’s up to but they hold nothing against him. The 50 are nicked in one night for the element of surprise and this is where the amazingly fast, hard racing action will come in. With cars from the Ferrari 360 Manerallo to the 1967 Shelby GT. 500 this is power all the way.

With the plot not being one of the thickest this could be a let down but the great action scenes make up for it. One thing I disagree with this film is about the 15+ certificate, which I feel, is way over the top except for maybe the subject.

All you car fanatics get this. Action fanatics, get this. Romance even! There is some. And with a cast like the one below the acting is great and professional at all times.
