Gone in 60 seconds is a fast and furious action pack film that you can watch over and over. Starring Nicholas Cage, Vinnie Jones, and Angelina Jolie, gone in sixty seconds tells the story of ex top dog car thief Randall (Memphis) Raines (Nicholas Cage) who has to return to the life of crime because his brother Kipp fails a big car boosting job, assigned by Raymond Kiletrie, the meanie of the film! Kipp’s life is in danger and the only way of getting rid of Raymond Kiletrie is to complete a car boost of fifty cars in 3 days, including three new Mercedes and a Shelby mustang 500, Eleanor. The brothers, along with some of their friends, (Angelina Jolie) and Vinnie Jones steal the cars, but will they do it in time? I don’t want to give away the end of the film! The cast is fantastic, even if some of them don’t have a lot to say! Vinnie jones has one paragraphs worth of dialogue…hardly a lead role but his character is a good one! Nicholas Cage gives one of his best performances yet; compared to “Snake eyes” or “face-off” he was superb! The soundtrack to the film is also fantastic…it includes songs such as “Bring sally up, Bring sally down” and “Low rider”. I got the film as soon as it came out in the shops…the special edition box is great; it includes: A model car, six picture postcards, and of course, the movie itself! It is well worth seeing; don’t be put off by some of Nicholas Cages other films, as I wasn’t a big fan until I saw this film!!! So go see it now…it will DRIVE you wild! I have recently returned to dooyoo, so any comments would be welcome…thank you and goodnight!
