Advantages: Car Oggling

Disadvantages: A Little Boring

As the title suggests the cars in this film are very impressive, especially the Mustang that Nicolas Cage writes-off at the end of the movie.

Also the cast, which includes Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie and Giovanni Ribisi had exceptional acting credentials.

If you couple these two assets with the fact that the film was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, who was responsible for such films as The Rock and Beverley Hills Cop, you would think that we would have a cracking movie on our hands. Well no.

There is nothing wrong with the basic story line but the script is not good. The villain of the film, played by Christopher Eccleston, was not in the film long enough for the viewer to think that he was particularly evil. Also considering the stars of the film are the cars you would think that there would be some really good car chases. Wrong again, if it's car chases that you want I suggest you check out Ronin or Bullitt.

One final plus point - Vinny Jones.

I think this film was average to say the least.
