I totally loved this film! It was one of the best films I have seen this year and I even quite liked Nicholas Cage in it! 'Gone in 60 Seconds' is a remake of an old cult classic brought up to date with the fabulous additions of stunning ferraris and a whole host of gorgeous cars including 'Eleanor' the beautiful Shelby ford ... Wow! What a film, it is so action packed, it had me on the edge of my seat, not to mention the fact that I had no finger nails left by the end. The film is pact with fast car chases, fights and lots of stunts. The film is about a guy that wants 50 cars stolen for him, and delivered by a certain time. But the police find out what is going ... Now I am a nut about sexy cars and stylish action films - hence there is virtually no way that this film could not impress me. Angelina Jolie is also somewhat of a sex symbol for me and I love Cage-Brucheimer creations (by that I mean I liked The Rock). So how is it that my subjective ramblings still lead me to feel a bit let down. ... Read the complete review

Given the brushoff in the press, 'Gone in 60 seconds' isn't all that bad. The cars are cool, the action fluently handled, and it all looks very flash and expensive. Former car stealing ace Memphis Raines (Nic Cage) is dragged back to LA to fulfil a debt to a crime boss (Christopher Eccleston) that his feckless brother (Giovanni ... Read the complete review

I could easily have sat another hour in the cinema watching this movie. It was the most action packed film I have seen in a long time which didn't include cutting peoples heads off or drinking their blood. This was good old fashioned action, full of car chases and brilliant stunts. I must say that Mr Cage was great as usual and the rest of the ... Read the complete review

This is another great movie starring Nicholas Cage. It also stars Angelina Jolie though I must admit she doesn't really play a huge part in the show. Gone in 60 seconds does not display so much of high tech gadgets but it has some fantastic 'action' sequence with top cars. Cage plays Memphis Raines, who has the task of stealing 50 ... One thing you can say about Jerry Bruckheimer - any film of his will be loaded with mind-numbing action, lots of violence, lots of car chases, and a token gorgeous female. Well GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS lives up to all the Bruckheimer traits and more - it also has Vinny Jones in it! But - is it good? Nicholas Cage, so good in Con Air and ... Read the complete review

Nicholas Cage is on his usually good form in Gone in Sixty Seconds giving what is the guaranteed performance from him. Vinnie Jones' role is interesting as Sphinx and it certainly seems as though this man might make it over the pond whilst Jolie is satisfactory as the lead female. However people should realise that this film is not a ... Read the complete review

Here we have another Jerry Bruckheimer summer action blockbuster. He did The Rock and Con Air with Nic Cage, and now the duo team up again for Gone in 60 Seconds. It's an action caper flick - where the crims have to to steal 50 cars to save Cage's brother's life. It is quite a thin idea, and maybe this is the problem ... Read the complete review

"Gone in 60 Seconds" is nothing less than what we've come to expect from a Jerry Bruckheimer film by now: blaring music, jerky cinematography, plus Nicolas Cage playing another hero with a nutty name; here he's Randall "Memphis" Raines (is he a Johnny Rivers fan or something?), in the tradition of Stanley Goodspeed ... Why does the English accent sound so Englishy when in an Americans film? If some of you are hoping to see whether Vinnie Jones can act or not well...this isn't going to help you out. He hardly says a word until the end. I don't think the ladies will particulary like this film. Anyway, abit about the film. Starring: Nicolas ... Read the complete review

With Nicholas Cage taking the lead role in this film, you can't really go wrong, i have never seen him in a bad film so far, I wouldn't say it is fantastic, but it was funny, and there where some wicked cars, with some unreal stunts (slightly unbelievable)and that girl actress was stunning, so they really do have a recipe for success, ...
