Not only does he star in this movie but he also wrote the script with his close friend Ben Affleck. THE STORY Will Hunting is a young janitor working at MIT with a history of abuse as a child he has been in trouble with the police for most of his life. Written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and directed by Gus Van Sant, Good Will Hunting is another of those films from the category I would describe as ?feel good films?. What I mean by this is, that Good Will Hunting is a film that will make you happy, sad and sometimes downright angry all in the space of just over two hours. This is the quandary that Robin Williams finds himself in when presented with an aggressive and emotional genius. Matt Damon portrays the willy in question, Will Hunting to be precise and for those of you had wondered about the relevance of the film title to the plot, you now have your answer! Good Will Hunting is one of those films that I saw a few years ago on TV late one night and really liked, then forgot about! Until the other week when I saw it on Lovefilm.com and added it to my rental list. It arrived a few days ago and we watched it last night and it was every bit as good as I remembered.
