Grease is the word...

I remember watching Grease when I was around 7 years old, then again for the second and third time later that day. I wanted to learn the words and sing along so that I could pretend to be Sandy.

Grease is the type of film most fathers, brothers and boyfriends moan about watching with wives, sisters and girlfriends, but secretly like. It really is a film for all the family, regardless of age.

Grease tells the story of high school teenagers and begins when Sandy and Danny meet during the summer holidays. Sandy, who is Australian, has to go back home at the end of the summer leaving Danny to his life back at high school with the T-Birds (his group of friends) and the Pink Ladies (including his ex girlfriend). Sandys family decide to stay in town and Sandy begins school at Rydell High, where all the drama happens. Of course it all ends happily with singing and dancing.

Its the type of film that when somebody tells you they haven't seen it you say, "really !?" in a shocked voice. Definately a must see and still one of my favourite films.
