Advantages: insight and characters from the other side of the OR

Disadvantages: only on an hour

Two words Patrick Dempsey, if you have no other interest in the plot lines of the show these two words will keep you watching. Dempsey plays just one member of a hospital team responsible for training a handful of interns through their early days at seattle grace a hospital in seattle. Before you lose interest and say oh this is just ER for modern times read on the show contains a much wider storyline interlinking relationships at the hospital with the interns personal relationships. The surgery the interns get involved in are far more imaginative than previous shows and the real magic of the show is delving in to the feelings of the characters about their training and how they interlink with one another as oppose to other shows which show the experts getting it right every time, for once we get to look at what happens when things go wrong and how it effects the people on the other side of the surgery. failing that patrick dempsey is hot and 60 minutes of him is well worth wasting an hour of your life over.
