This is a timeless classic - it is without a doubt my favourite film of all time. The concept of time and the revolving nature of it is pure genius in my eyes. Most films which address the concept of time are usually a hit for me.

Bill Murray expertly takes on the role of the bitter, under achiever of Phil Collins. Despite delusions of grandeur, Phil is acutely aware of his standing in life but still makes it his business to make sure that his ego gets in the way of professional and personal relationships.

As the movie unrolls, Phil is forced to address his behaviour and the ways in which he interacts with other people. The movie weaves comedy, romance and time in such a fascinating way that I am left in awe each time I watch it.

The best thing about this film is that it shows how, with time, even the most hard nosed of people can open themselves to the prospect of love, friendship and a sense of community. After struggling with his situation, he embraces it and makes the most of it - not just for himself but for those with whom he comes into contact.

A truly marvellous film.

Summary: Recommended to all those that like classic romance/comedy/humour films.
