Sunday afternoon …. Wet, windy and really not boating weather. Next best thing to ‘messing about on the river’ is a good movie and a big ole bowl of hot calorie laden caramel popcorn (well, not the next best thing! ; )) Now you all know what an exciting weekend I had, yeah? Old people are surely such a rich source of comedy that I am suprised that more funny movies haven't been made around them. Maybe its because Hollywood thinks that we would all rather see firm young meat on screen rather than a bunch of wrinkled old folks, and to be fair, more than a few movies have played off just this fact - how many times has a really bad movie been watched by fans of the hot young male/female starlets in the cast?
