... leading roles. The fact that he delivers his lines in English helps a lot. Leonardo Pieraccioni, who plays Doc, appears to speak in his native Italian most of the time, and his dubbed voice is strained and uncomfortable to listen to. It doesn't help that he looks out of place, particularly as the son of Harvey Keitel, and so just doesn't seem to fit into the film at all. Young Jeremiah lives peacefully with his white father, Doc, and Indian mother, Pearl, somewhere in the Wild West. Then Doc's father, Johnny, who hasn't been seen for years, returns.
