Every inch as entertaining and thrilling as 'The Silence of the Lambs', 'Hannibal' is superb! - Advantages: Anthony Hopkins in his finest role, as Doctor Lecter, who else could play him? - Disadvantages: It's a shame Jodie Foster refused the role of Clarice Starling.

It's just sad. Sad that a great actor like Anthony Hopkins has to embarrass himself in a film like this.
