Hi my name is Igor and here is my opinion about very popular film: Hard Rain. I think that it is very good, nice, interesting and it really famous film. I think everybody like to watch very interesting films on TV and sit in a soft armchair. That is especially pleasant to sit and to watch it with the cup of hot coffee or tee. So when you will watch this film it will be especially pleasant for you because this film is a real sensation. On a trip to Asda not intending to buy any DVD's I happened to walk past the bargain ones and spot this film which as it stared Morgan Freeman I decided to buy it, and a few others! The film is set n Huntingburg which is becoming rapidly flooded due to the awful weather. The town is being evacuated and the bank is being emptied. Tom, played by Christian Slater and his Uncle Charlie, played by Ed Asner are the drivers of the armoured truck which has been sent to empty all the banks in the flood area and as a result it now has $3 million inside. Very few people have heard of Hard Rain but all those that have seen it like it. I think it is excellent. It takes an original approach to the action movie and it proves successful providing a feast for the eyes. The plot is pretty straightforward. In the worst storm in history security guards are sent to collect all the money from all the banks that are likely to flood. The armoured van then gets caught in the flood and before the guards know it they are being fired upon. Hard Rain although not well known is a good all rounder film.It stars Christian Slater who has finally managed to get rid of the idea that his looks are the only good thing about him, and has proven how good an actor he really is. Morgan Freeman also excells in this film, and for once plays a baddie who we manage to grow to like. The film revolves around a mixed up hijacking pliot, the attempt to steal thousands of dollars from an armed truck, the involvement of Slaters p[artner in this, and very importantly, an horrific storm where everywhere is flooded. I absolutely love american disaster movies with some action thrown in the deep end. Top it all off with actors in Morgan and Slater and you've got yourself a very enjoyable film. The very likeably leading actor Tom (played by Christain Slater) plays a security guard picking up 5 million dollars from a small town bank overcome with some poor whether with high flooding on its way. Well riding back with the dosh they get cought up in the floods and are stuck with 5 million dollars in the back of there truck.
