Premium Review Hard to Kill (DVD): Steven Seagal know's how to kick arse (291 words)

Rating:

Hard To Kill is one of Steve Seagal's earlier films, along with Nico, Marked For Death and Out For Justice. In Hard To Kill, Seagal plays Mason Storm, an LA Detective who happens to evesdrop on a meeting between a corrupt Californian politician and his associate. When Mason gets busted he flees the scene, heading home to his wife and son whilst at the same time hiding the tape. Unfortunately for Storm, someone tips off the politican who then get's his hitmen to kill Storm and his family. Storm is shot several times, and his wife is killed whle his son escapes and is looked after by his buddy. Storm ends up in a coma, waking up 1 day not remembering ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Seagal Power! (148 words)
by - written on 18/09/00 (Very useful, 69 readings)
Rating:

Steven Seagal is without doubt the best actor this planet has ever produced. The ludicrously bearded Seagal uses a wheelchair to evade his ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Hard to Kill (DVD): Hard to stay awake (97 words)
by - written on 15/08/00 (Not useful, 53 readings)
Rating:

Here we have the classic Stephen Segall film. At the peak of his churned out hero protecting the innocent eco-warrior grrovy geezer. The story is: Good cop and family shot by bad guys. Family killed, good cop in coma for 7 years. Good cop comes out of coma, avenges death of family etc. with martial arts and guns, kills all bad guys. The end. If you have seen any other Segall films, replace the plot and don't bother going to see it it is all absolutely the same. Boring, predictable, slow. ...  Read the complete review
