I highly recommend watching this film with the commentary, this is mainly down to the wealth of information about the LA and Culver City locations, as well as Lloyd trivia that makes it so interesting. This review is for the film 'Safety Last' which is featured on the disc box set and not the whole package. Silent films from the 20's are rare gems, they show the world as it once was, but the best still make us laugh today. The films of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy are still watched today because of the genius of their physical comedy timing. Their prolonged appeal and their international popularity is due to the comic's 'funny bones'.
