Advantages: Jennifer Love Hewitt (say no more)!

Disadvantages: Exposure to attempted screenplay that is obviously supposed to be funny?

I personally took this movie as more of a thriller than a comedy! Jennifer Love Hewitt was extremely entertaining. As part of a con team with Sigourney Weaver (also in her sexiest guise), the females work together using every trick in the book to virtually live life for nothing! It's very sad, really that there actually are, in more ways than one, genuine women around (in real life), like this folks (I think)!

It becomes so obvious regularly throughout this movie that some sharp attempts at some pretty poor 'instant' comedy punctuate the seemingly bland plot. The punch lines or actions are so much like bad jokes that they seem unreal. Surely though, just seeing Jennifer Love Hewitt has got to be worth exposure to every silly joke on earth, even if the jokes are cast in the American attempt to copy British laughs.

Without doubt, this is the most glamorous movie I’ve seen this year. Where the 'pretty' elements are lacking in other movies, they are made up for here with the likes of the ladies and their role in this film.

So guys forget your synthetic 'tomb raider' thrills and get all your excitement from this flick, for at least there is a sense of humour somewhere in this one's intention!

I did find the prominent 'con' theme a bit of a give away. Crooks, or indeed us ordinary folk could almost graduate to getting free meals in restaurants if we are remotely influenced by the way the ladies carry on in the story. The ladies try to con their men victims out of cash or material things by scamming their way through. It all seems very real to me though- beyond it’s surface being almost very much like the modern way of life that we know, or try to face wherever we turn today!

Through the surface of the glamour, I would say that the ladies really did act well too, with what was thrust upon them. I certainly prefer Sigourney Weaver in her ' fashionable’, 'working gi
rl' style roles anyway- believing that if you got it you might as well flaunt it! - Don't you?

Ok so for me Jennifer made this film, and I look forward to her next (very major) role. If you don't know what I mean, simply take one whole star off my rating and you'll probably have a more realistic general opinion of the film!

I did manage a couple of laughs. It's annoying in a theatre when on the rare occasion when you have to laugh, noone seems to share your taste!

Although you did not include a brief description of the storyline(or if you did the film must be bad!), the op was quite good, maybe I'll get round to seeing it...
