Advantages: I have sat here for 5 minutes thinking about this, and I have come to the conclusion that there isn't one!!

Disadvantages: They bothered to make the film at all!!

I'm sorry, but normally I give all films a chance, but this one really does not deserve it!! I sat there for nearly two hours and by the end of the film I still hadn't seen the point!

The film is centred around John Cusack who is in the middle of a break up with his long-term girlfriend and can't understand why. What follows is Cusack hunting down is ex top 5 girlfriends who ruined his life and meeting up with them to see where he went wrong. This is all mixed in with the running of his record shop, helped by two guys who try to add comedy to a boring film!

The outcome is predictable and it takes far too long to get there. The only thing that kept me intrigued during the film was the number of actors and actresses that popped up from time to time, such as Catherine Zeta Jones (who looked very ill!!), Darlene from Roseanne, and Tim Robbins.

I think that they were trying to make this in to some sort of bloke chick flick, all they managed to do was bore me for £3.75!! Avoid this film like the plague!!

Perhaps more of a mention to the record store and the co-workers would probably be needed. However, I agree with you totally. This is one of the most lifeless, boring and disjointed films that I have seen for a long time, maybe even ever!

Haven't seen it, though I remember wanting to at the time. Thinking back I might not have bothered because other people found it as bad as you did... great book, though.
