A review of Enda McCallion's film Hit and Run, which was released straight to region 2 DVD in February 2009. Mary parties hard with her friends one night but eventually reaches the stage where she knows that she's had enough. After a lingering kiss with her boyfriend Rick, she gets in her car and drives herself home, in spite of the fact that she's had far too much to drink. On a secluded country road, she doesn't notice a tyre in the road until the very last second and swerves violently to avoid it, narrowly avoiding hurtling into the trees.
