So, as I mentioned in my last review, I was very unimpressed with the television this year at the holiday season but I did stumble upon a night of some good 90's films. I did watch 'While You Were Sleeping' one night as previously reviewed but I had also watched another film this same night and the other film I watched was 'Home Alone 2'. Although this is another older film it is for me a Christmas classic and although the Home Alone films are played usually every year I still love to watch them and they never get old. Although, the whole concept for these films is unrealistic they make for a great set of films full of original jokes and an innocent little boy played by ... Read the complete review

Ever since Home Alone 2 came out in 1992, Kevin Macalister reintroduced himself as the household figure during Christmas Season. I first watched this movie when I was a kid and I still watch it now- in fact, I would say that I must have watched this movie more than 300 times in my entire life! The reason why I still am not fed up with Home Alone 2 is because of the extremely touching Christmas charm and the wonderful charisma radiated by McCauly Caulkin all throughout- not to mention the glitz and glamour of New York that is present throughout the movie. While the movie does not have the magical element it had when I watched it as a kid, it still captivates me today and ... Read the complete review

Its a little bit retro, pretty cheesy and now would be seen as behind the times with its family set up but hey I love it! Home Alone 2 is one of those movies that I love watching as it gets closer to Christmas, it makes me feel really festive. Following the same basics as Home Alone, the premise is an over-sized family, going on holiday, kid gets lost, ends up on different flight, lands at opposite end of the country to his family and goes off on jaunts and adventures around New York city. Now I'm going to answering what I dont like about this film first. What I dont like about watching this film in this day and age is that you cant help ... Read the complete review
