AlthoughI was a lover of animated Disney films when I was younger, I also adored a lot of what I call the 'real life' films. One of these I watched a lot was Honey I Shrunk The Kids.

Plot:
Honey I Shrunk The Kids is a film about an inventor who creates a machine to shrink things. He ends up shrinking his children though, which is never a good thing! They need to fight their way through the world 'borrower size', until they find a way to get back to normal.

Characters:
In my opinion, the characters in this film are not very excitng. They are all quite the same, and can be found in many other films too. They have similar names too, such as "Big Russ" and "Little Russ", and it all gets a little too confusing. I think if more thought had been put into their personalities it would have much better.

Suitability:
The film as a certificate of U (universal), which I think is suitable indeed. Nothing exactly scary or frightening happens. In fact, not a lot happens at all! It's quite slow moving!

Price:
You can buy this in stores and online from places such as HMV and Amazon. You should expect to pay around £5 at the most, which is not bad. I think the low price reflects how dull the film is. If you have spare change you may wish to buy it, since it wont break the bank.

I dont know why I loved this as a child. Now it seems so dull. It is a family film and should appeal to all. Perhaps it was good in its day but now its just not worth it. If it sound slike your thing, that by all means watch it, but for me its a no-go now.
