Horse Feathers is a classic 1932 Marx Brothers comedy directed by Norman McLeod and written by Harry Ruby, Bert Kalmar, and the great SJ Perelman. The film is set at fictitious Huxley college where, in typically unlikely comic Marx Brothers fashion, Groucho's Quincy Adams Wagstaff has just become the new president. "Have they started sawing the woman in half yet?" asks Groucho when he interrupts a biology class. Joining him for seventy or so minutes of hugely enjoyable nonsense are Chico and Harpo as a bootlegger Baravelli and dog catcher Pinky, enrolled in the college by Groucho to aid the football team, plus Zeppo as Quincy's student son Frank, and the ...
