This movie was so touching and so ridiculously sad that I was only able to watch it the one time, but once was enough, this film was absolutely wonderful. The only reason I can't watch it again is that I can't stand how sad the story makes me, but if you are someone who can handle the sadness in movies this is definitely a movie you should see. It is a very different story that will definitely touch your heart. Sean Penn and Dakota Fanning do an absolutely fabulous job portraying their unique and wonderful characters in this amazing and awe inspiring film. The movie is about a mentally challenged man named Sam Dawson, played by Sean Penn. Sam is the father of ... Read the complete review

“I am Sam” is the moving story of a Father and the love for his daughter, and the challenges that he has in demonstrating his ability to be a ‘proper’ father to her, despite his own limitations. Despite all the odds, Sam seems to do ... Read the complete review

I am Sam is indeed a very good movie. I tell you from the beginning that I would recommend this movie and I will tell you why. The story was about the single father with the mental incapability, raising up a very bright daughter. Sam, the father did anything for his daughter, Lucy. He tried to get himself promoted and tried to get the good caregiver to the child so that she could improved and not become someone like him. One day the family had to encounter the social service who felt that the father is not capable to raise the kid based on the economical and the mental condition of him. They tried to separate Sam and Lucy, but the bond between father and ... Read the complete review
