Advantages: The cool 'bong' they use (in the shape of a 'lady'), and SETH GREEN!!

Disadvantages: why didn't he care that his parents were dead? he was stoned...ok, that explains it

'The Devil will find work for Idle Hands to do...but what will happen when he chooses the laziest teen slacker in the world to do his dirty work?'
So, would you watch this film if you read that on the back of the video box? I probably wouldn't, it sounds a bit too cheesy, but read on, and I will prove that it is worth a watch.
Ok, so I admit it, the only reason I had even heard about this film is through wanting to see Seth Green in something other than Buffy. Don't get me wrong, I love Buffy, but I wanted to see him as something other than the cute little Oz, and I did in this...
'I'm gonna call nine one one, what's the number?'

It's halloween and there is a killer on the loose.
'Don't you watch the news?'
'Nah, I hate that f*ckin show'- Anton

Seth Green plays Mick, who is one of 'Anton Tobias's' best friends. Pnub (played by Elden Henson) is the other. Anton (Devon Sawa) is a lazy, sluggish, indolent pot-head who doesn't seem to care about anything, except porn, weed and Molly, the girl next door, who he has never had the guts to even talk to.
Molly is a chick bassist, (yey!) and very very pretty. She is played by Jessicca Alba, who is now starring in 'Dark Angel' and has been in Never Been Kissed.

Mick and Pnub are best friends with Anton, but not quite as lazy, even they notice that he is getting a little too 'idle' when he comes to visit dressed in only boxers, a t-shirt and his moms fluffy slippers.

'Anton, all you do is smoke pot and watch TV all day, now don't get me wrong, that is what life is all about, but don't you think you should have some ambition, like a goal?'

The guys are a great comedy act, they are typical men, and just so funny.
'I hear that if you combine nutmeg and oregano, you can get pretty wasted...'

The Devil takes a hand, quite literally. I thou
ght that this would be a comedy, which it is in parts, but it is actually a horror. It has blood, drugs, rock and roll (guest starring The Offspring) and the odd sexy scene.
Me and my best friend got ready for a girls night in with pizza and this video which I had been wanting to watch for ages with Seth Green in it. We had settled down in an empty house and pressed play. Then we realised why it was an 18...
Ok, so maybe it could be worse. I mean, they're not *injecting* anything, it is just cannabis, and a small concoction of oregano and nutmeg, but there is quite a lot of blood and eyeballs.

Quite near to the beginning we are introduced to a nun, Debbie Liqueur, but she isn't a nun. You can guess this by the amount of swearing she does. It is just a disguise for the police. She holds the solution to the problem of the 'idle hand' which happens to be possessing Anton. Debbie, played by Vivica A. Fox, has been following the hand, trying to catch it, when she notices a pattern on her trusty map. A pentagon shape. Ooooh, scary. No, this isn't. Personally I find this bit a little far-fetched, especially when the places the 'hand' has been, don't even fit in the pattern she has drawn!
Anton and friends have to stop this 'devil limb' before it kills again, but he does have help from Debbie, and Randy, who lives up to his name, played by Jack Noseworthy. Anton seeks Randy's help, as he listens to the Devils music (like Quiet Riot...), he also helps by 'lending' the guys his 'Ford'.
It would help Anton if he didn't keep killing people. First his parents, then his best friends, but they do come back.
'There was this really bright light and all this music, like Enya...but we figured f*ck it, I mean, it was really far'
So, they figure out Anton's the killer, or his hand is anyway, so what does Anton do? He goes to the school dance. Not a bad idea, since The Offspring
are playing, but this brings the hand to lots of lots of people...
Who will save the day? Well, marijuana does actually, a very very funny ending, and yes, he does get the girl.

It is funny, it has Seth Green in it, it also has a really fit chick in it (who is a bassist, yey!). How can this be a bad film? Well, it isn't bad at all, so rent it out, and it has just come out to buy on video and DVD too, so give it a go!

um, the nun bit is really irrelevant... she's only dressed up as a nun for the introduction of her bit. She was in disguise, she's not really a nun on the run.
