I am generally not that fond of romcoms, but with this being a British one, I thought it might be a step up from the slew of American ones. The film certainly is quirky and set in London where I used to live, I was able to recognise a lot of landmarks.

Please note that this is not the Jennifer Love Hewitt film of the same title, but is a British romcom made in 1998 (aka The Man with Rain in his Shoes in the US). Victor has made a bit of a mess of his life. He had an affair with a fellow actress and ended his relationship with Sylvia, but then realised afterwards he had made a terrible mistake. Unfortunately, it is too late, because Sylvia is about to marry another man. Victor goes out, gets drunk and bumps into two binmen who give him the chance to go back in time and rectify the wrongs that he did.
