Raiders Of The Lost Ark, was the first in the Indiana Jones trilogy, and by far the best. Raiders has been my personal favorite movie ever since I was a little boy. There is no action/adventure movie that even comes close. Raiders features a great storyline, great acting, and great badguys. The storyline is a fictional movie that was inspired by fact. The Ark is a sacred object, mentioned in the Bible, in which housed the Stone Tablets, with the origanal Ten Commandments. The presence of God was manifested with power in the Ark. Nobody was supposed to touch, or look into the Ark, if they did, they would die in an instant. Nobody knows where the Ark is right now, but many believe it is in Etheopia. The movie was inspired by a real person named Dr. Jones who was searching for the real Ark. Indiana Jones is a fictional character played by Harrison Ford, . Indiana is an archeologest who is sent to Egypt to find the lost city, where the Ark is. If you remember WW2 history, you will remember that Hitler and the Nazis were heavly into the occult and magic. Hitler sent his henchmen all over the world to find sacred objects to add to their mysic beliefs. Well in Raiders Dr. Jones has to get the Ark before the Nazis do, because we don't want that much power to fall in the wrong hands. Keep in mind during the movie that the Ark represents the God of the Jews, and he is not to fond of the Nazis. Raiders is a great movie, with some of the best action scenes ever seen on a movie. If you have not seen Raiders, you have missed out on one of the best movies of all time. Raiders is the only movie that I never get tired of. I have seen it at least a hundred times. You will never find another movie like Raiders, and it's a classic. Raiders also features some of the best badguys ever seen on a movie, like the guy with the glasses and black trench-coat.
