Advantages: All amazing films, not a bad one among them, Great actors
Disadvantages: Lots of discs!!
There are many great trilogies, but I believe this to be the best yet.
The Indiana Jones box set includes the three original Indian Jones films and a bonus disk:
· Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
· Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
· Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
· Over 3 Hours of Indiana Jones Bonus Materials
If you haven’t already seen all three original films then this box set is a must buy, if you have already seen them you must buy this box set as I know you want to watch them again. Anyways if you haven’t here is an over view of what the films are about.
All of these films were directed by Steven Spielberg and starred Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones.
All Rated PG’s.
~Raiders Of the Lost Ark~
Length – 111mins
If you haven’t seen this film then there is no doubt that you will have still seen the most famous scene from it where Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is being chased down a cave by a huge boulder. In this film the archaeologist Indiana makes it his mission to locate and retrieve the Ark of the Covenant, upon locating it he discovers that the Nazis are also after it and unfortunately got there before he did.
~Temple Of Doom~
Length – 112mins
I think this is the best of the trilogy however many others believe it is the worst but anyways, anyone seen the Goonies? Remember how “Data” the little Chinese kid (Ke Huy Quan) was the best character in the film well Steven Spielberg originally had him acting in “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”.
After battling in a Shanghai nightclub Indiana Jones meets up with Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) and Short Round (Ke Huy Quan) then joins them in a crash landing in India. Here they are fed by local villagers and are asked to help save the village by retrieving a sacred rock along with all the children from the village. Battling voodoo and people from an evil cult he attempts to return what was stolen from the village.
~Last Crusade~
Starting with a clip of a younger Indiana Jones on one of his first of many missions we meet his father (Sean Connery) before it returns to the older Indiana Jones Where he works to save, and eventually work with his father to retrieve the Holy Grail. Once again he battles with the Nazis in a race to retrieve the Holy Grail. This time he battles in planes, tanks and motorbikes only to have to face deadly traps in order to discover the Holy Grail.
~Bonus Material~
