Although he never made many movies director Norman J. Warren made a strange impact on the landscape of British movies, during the 1970's and early 80's he made a series of unusual, and very un-British horror movies; though of most acclaim (not necessarily in a good way) were his series of strange science fiction horror synergies, of which 1980's Inseminoid is the best known. Inseminoid is one of the darkest science fiction horror movies (short of the Italian/Spanish co-offering Alien Terror) I have ever seen. (I'm reviewing the Region 1 disk, the region 2 appears identical) Right then before embarking on the humiliation of this movie, I have to give a nod to its makers. Film making is not an easy pastime in the UK. Pity, considering the quality of the local talent pool. So I admire the attempt to make a movie by anyone. Look to Sam Raimi (Evil Dead) and George A.
