Iron Eagle II (DVD)

Chappy is asked to mount a strike on a middle eastern nuclear site using US and Soviet pilots. The plot then centres on how to get the two sides to work together, and there is more here than meets the eye. This film is really dull, and lacks substance of any nature. It is only just watchable, and those in the film should of turned it down! The first one was cheesy, and then for the sequel to be typical cheesy sequel not even made very well it fails to grab your attention. If you can help it stay well clear. Another good movie, with Louis Gosset jr once again showing his talent in a leading role. Although this is a sequel to Iron Eagle 1, this film can be watched and enjoyed by anyone, even if you have not seen the first one. There are only loose conections between the two, and this film has a good storyline, which stand on it's own. The story is about an American / Soviet alliance to defeat an enemy who is threatening to destroy the world. Sounds a thin plot? Not at all!
