I went to see Jack Dee at the Hammersmith Apollo many years back now just before this DVD came out and it was one of the funniest shows I have seen. I love Jack Dee and rate him as one of the best British comedian. I can understand some people don't like like him as he has a very dry sense of humour and is serious but that is one of his best qualities. Jack's deadpan style makes for a real distinctive show which you're unlikely to find anywhere else. At least, not performed as well as this. He may be no stranger to the touring scene anymore, but his material remains enjoyably fresh and the gags are as funny as ever. Regardless, Jack Dee has never relied on his material to carry him through a performance. It's his excellent timing and expression that does the trick. When ... Read the complete review
