Advantages: Prepare to laugh til you...well...pee!

Disadvantages: uhh, keep a bucket at hand...

Directed by Jeff Tremaine and released in October 2002, Jackass The Movie is, basically, the climax to the run of series' on MTV. Only this time they are making a movie, and what goes in a movie doesn't abide by the same rules as a TV show, so you KNOW they took it up a notch.

From the offset you know you're in for something that is gonna push the boundaries of what has been pulled off before, in terms of pranking, humiliation etc.

The first thing you see is Knoxville and Co. appear through smoke on a GIANT shopping cart, they are flying down the street with explosions and stuff being thrown at them, at which point, Ehren McGhehey bails off of the side of the cart and Preston Lacy, assessing the situation he's in, decides to jump for safety. Bam Margera then, rather pointlessly, punches Ryan Dunn square in the face.

The next thing that happens is a side angle shot of the guys hitting some kind of fruit stand or something and all flying into it followed by dust and screaming. It really is so visually stimulating.

Throughout the entire movie it is just pretty much a tennis match between laugh and puke, the tears are barely dry before the gag reflex produces more, it's just hit after hit of pure stupidity and, to some extent, extreme bravery and comical genius.

I pretty much have to say that if you enjoyed the TV show, you will absolutely love the movie(s). I have to leave it to you to bring the depth of the film to life because Jackass sometimes can't be described in words, it's more of an experience.

Summary: Fantastic, entertaining and definitely worthy of $79.4m gross worldwide.
