Old Bear was introduced to me by a fellow teaching colleague. I had never heard of this programme and to be honest it looked a bit outdated (in comparieson to the programmes the children usually showed interest in e.g. Ben 10 etc). The stories are based on Jane Hisseys popular stories. The blurb on the box reads as follows: 'Years and years ago Old bear, with his scruffy fur and his threadbare paws, was packed away in a box and taken up to the attic.
